TurboTax crashes relentlessly

TurboTax 2019 crashed repeatedly when entering Employer ID number. Tried various suggested fixes on Intuit, Apple and other forums. I bought another copy of TurboTax federal Return 2019. That too crashed upon entering EID number. Finally created a new user and was able to — through a complicated process — get the program to work. Thanks TurboTax — many people have complained of this bug.

Turbo Tax is Wonderful

Turbo Tax makes everything so easy. It walks you through all the steps, total income, total deductions, total tax. I wish we could see the tax tables is my only regret. I've been using Turbo Tax for 14 years and don't plan on ever stopping.

Turbo Tax has some user problems

I had to call the help line 3 times. The front end computer was mind numbingly bad. The people whom I ultimately reached, in spite of all the efforts of the computer to NOT connect me, were competent and pleasant

TurboTax is adaquate

"Basic" does everything even though they try to upsell you if you have capital gains or whatever. They do a good job of carrying forward your previous yr data. Some of the steps are not clear. For example, they ask if you overpaid your Roth, but if you did and then withdrew the overpayment, they don't ask or know about the withdrawal and still try to charge you the penalty for overpayment. And so on.
