Turbo Tax Basic

I had my doubts if Turbo Tax Basic would work for me this year having paid estimated federal taxes in 2021. Surprised it did - similar to what the internet showed. I printed a transcript from IRS just in case. Lots of questions. Hope it is accepted.

Long time user!

I have been using TurboTax for over 25 years and find it very easy to complete all the forms necessary. While the tax code keeps changing, TurboTax is always staying abreast of those changes and saves me from doing all the research to be sure my filed return is accurate and up to date. I will not use any other method as TT is the most cost efficient way to go. Keep up the good work!

Most of the process was very easy but did have a problem with a K-1 issue.
I contacted John and Turbo Tax and he was able to resolve the issues. He was extremely helpful and very polite and courteous

Easy to Use

Turbo Tax is easy to use especially for someone filing the Senior 1040. I would have given a 5 star rating except for the unbelievable long process using a deduction from your return for paying for the Turbo Tax Audit. I have learned my lesson. In the future I will just use a credit card. When I tried to file it wouldn't go through and I was advised to check for updates which I did. I changed my payment method to credit card and the e-file worked. I just hope it still doesn't try to pay using a deduction from my refund. Doing my return was great until I got to the TurboTax Audit using a payment from my refund. I would not recommend that option to anyone.

I have been using Turbo Tax for more than 15 years. This is the first time I am using the basic form. I have been using the deluxe form, but since I don't have enough deductions I went with basic.

Reliable tax preparation software

We have used Turbo Tax Basic for over 12 years. Our return is simple because we only have retirement and SSA income. It is much easier, and accurate, than manually preparing out tax return.
