Worst wall oven ever!

Worst appliance ever! Brand new when we moved into our new house. Within 2 months the whole control board blew. Whirlpool sent a technician out who said we needed a new control panel. We waited 3 weeks for one to arrive. Upon installation of the new panel, we lost all convection functions and the temperature wouldn't hold. Technician was called out again and another new panel was ordered and installed. Same issue. Technician and his colleagues are out of ideas and the tech department at Whirlpool won't answer his calls. We're stuck with a wall oven that doesn't work, a technician on speed dial, and no promise this will ever get resolved.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very happy with this high tech oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the features this oven has. The fact that it can be controlled over your phone while you are away is very important to me. Also, simple feature that I didn’t have before : easy removal (no tools needed) of the door for better access to clean the oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased to replace a 25 year old Whirlpool oven. Fit and finish are good, with a sleek, modern appearance. The oven heats reasonably quickly, and has multiple modes, bake, convection, etc. we don’t use the WiFi features, nor do we plan on using the air fry mode, but they are there.
That’s the good. On the other hand, the sleek appearance is achieved with a touch screen. Manufacturers of everything have gone to touchscreens. They work great on phones and tablets, but nobody else seems to have the hang of them. The target on the mode selection screen is apparently ridiculously small, and requires multiple pokes just to get the oven into “bake” mode so you can move on in the menu. It’s fine from there, but having to hit the screen 10-12 times just to heat the oven is a major fail, and extremely frustrating. The frustration takes away almost all the joy from using the oven.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
