Bought this oven in February and I am not happy at all. The porcelain finish in the oven is flaking off, down to the shiny metal. I have used it very limited the last couple months. Whirlpool’s technician states it is cosmetic and they will not cover it. I have read that this seems to be a common thing with ovens that have the hidden heating element. The bigger concern is that these flakes and particles of porcelain will get in my food while cooking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven does not heat to the temperature it is set. It’s about 50 degrees cooler. Also, the touch screen used to set the oven temperature is very hard to use. It must be touched several times to engage. My old oven was a Whirlpool, and it was great. It lasted 20 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really enjoying the simplicity of the selection panel & the temperature has been fully accurate.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] hard to set the cooking times as you have to apply the exact amount of pressure to the touchpad. I had to download the app and set the cook times on the phone which is pretty inconvenient. I had a 25yr old friend try it also and he said it's not user friendly so this has nothing to do with being a Boomer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love everything so far. I haven’t tried every cooking method yet (airfryer or convection). My only complaints so far are: no manual except online. And in the manual, it never said that you have to leave the door “closed” when broiling. We thought the broiler was broken. Every oven I’ve ever owned (I’m 70 years old), you always were told to leave the door open a crack during broiling. Finally figured it out watching some YouTube videos on newer ovens.. Since then a lot of other people with new ovens, told us they had the same thing happen. The broiler turns off every time you open the door. Glad we figured it out before the repair came out!
