[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This really made it easier to hear and understand people talking to me.
The problem was I evidently didn't have the right "sizer" installed and while I was outside taking care of animals, the aid fell out of my ear.
I didn't notice it until I came back in the house and my wife spoke to me. I was never able to find the one I lost.

Smart hearing aids for less

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to advancing age and not wearing enough hearing protection in my youth, I am experiencing increasingly noticeable hearing loss. Thinking that it's not bad enough to warrant prescription aids, I have tried "hearing amplifiers" in the past with mixed results. While they do indeed work, they have just a volume control; no other options. I decided to give these hearing aids a try after seeing that they are configurable from my phone. I will say that I am impressed with the difference from what I had before. I can adjust the settings for both ears together or individually. I have more loss in one ear that the other, and not having to try to adjust a basic volume control with my big fingers is a real joy. The only thing I wish I had done differently is gotten the rechargeable version of these. the batteries that these take (a #13 cell each) are pretty small for me to handle. If you too have a bit of arthritis or such, I would recommend changing the batteries over a towel on the table. This prevents them from bouncing away if dropped. I have a friend with similar non-over-the-counter aids that just a few years ago cost him 1000's of dollars, even with insurance. These are a nice alternative for a lot less money!

Great option for Over the Counter (OTC)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product took a bit to set up on my iphone, but once I did, they Worked well. I have mild to mid job related hearing loss. Held a charge which was very nice. It is great to now have lower priced options, and this product worked very well for that. They are discreet when worn, which is also important for many , but in particular for women.
I would recommend this to a friend!
