With the fast paced life of today, this unit delivers flawlessly. Modern technology that meets the simple needs. The last sharp carousel unit i had lasted 22 years. It's the only microwave brand I trust.

SHARP PRODUCTS USUALLY DELIVER. THIS MICROWAVE OVEN TAKES
LONGER TO HEAT FOOD THAN ANY OTHER MICORWAVE OVEN I HAVE
OWNED OR USED. I WOULD HAVE BROUGHT IT BACK TO STORE BUT IT

Much Better Than Our Previous Microwave

I’ve been genuinely impressed with this microwave. The stainless steel design looks great built into the cabinet, and the inverter technology really does make a difference—food heats evenly without the usual hot‑and‑cold spots. But the standout feature for me is just how quiet it is. From the gentle hum while running to the soft beeps, it’s noticeably quieter than any microwave I’ve owned before, which makes a surprising difference in day‑to‑day use.

Product is smaller than expected

I bought this product a replacement of my aging microwave oven a sharp R426HS.
Upon looking upon the dimensions of the new microwave oven, I thought it would be a great replacement to the other one. However it was smaller than I expected it to be, and therefore I had to buy a bigger custom-made frame for it

the product has good points and bad points

This microwave was similar to my last one, but with a few changes that I didn't care for:
1) The defrost feature does not work well; it takes forever as compared to the last model. To get around that, you have to just cook it, but that sometimes leads to overheating/overcooking the item.
2) After you use it, there is no indication that it was just used. The last model would show the word "DONE" on the screen. This was useful to show that you had already used it at least once, plus that there is still an item in the microwave.
