We have been using this microwave for about 4 months and have been happy with it. We needed one to fit in an open wall shelf. This fit the bill and the exhaust is fine as we have books on one side of the shelf. Power is great. Only feature that I would like improved is the interior illumination. It is adequate but not great. The interior is not illuminated very brightly and the placement of the bulb does not fully illuminate what is inside cooking. All of the features work fine. I would like to be able to modify the default values that are set for the various features as some of the default settings that you can cycle through are not quite adequate in some instances so one has to heat the item again. But then one can skip the predefined items and set the times manually. Happy with it.

for some reason, the clock on this microwave randomly jumps ahead three hours for no reason. I disconnected the Alexa from it and it is still having the same problem. There doesn’t seem to be an explanation as to why it does this, and so randomly. Very frustrating to have to keep resetting the clock to the correct time.

Grinding noise right out of the box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought this today. Loved the size but the glass plate appears to be too big for the microwave and rubs as it turns. There is also a loud grinding noise when it runs. Will probably be returning this tomorrow
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Chip was bad out of the box. Sharp replaced the unit quickly. New unit has wi-fi, and most of the instructions address wi-fi. We aren't using the wi-fi feature, and the instructions are scant and somewhat confusing.
I would recommend this to a friend!
