Love the controls being upfront.

We chose this model due to the controls being up front and it having a drawer. Suggested improvements:
1. Put a push feature on the oven control to turn on. We accidentally leaned on it and turned the oven on without knowing.
2. The backsplash is another reason we chose it, but it would be nice if it had a clock and made with fingerprint proof material. We bought a magnetic clock to put on the backsplash so it would not look so empty.

So far the oven and stove work as expected.
My suggestions, I think, would make a better product.
This was the only stove that had a back splash and controls upfront.

I love my new stove. I had a old stove and it couldn’t be fixed. I’m glad I have a new stove that works.

Required to select from American Home Shield as replacement for unrepairable stove.
Knobs on the front may be hazardous for children - as to access.
No clock or stove light for surface, very plain but not inexpensive list price.

Simplicity itself

I've just bought this range, so the 5 stars is hopeful. What prompted me to review it already is that its plainness, which I find elegant and for me is its best feature, some other reviewers find disappointing. My last range, a 15-year-old GE, which this one replaces, had digital touch pad whatnot, i.e. timer, clock, etc. Over time, the touch pad digital controls for everything became crummy looking and always needed nearly constant cleaning themselves. I so appreciate that this one is mechanical and has the controls on the front. The previous range had the annoying feature of the controls for the back burners interfering with actually using those burners--I hardly ever used those burners over the entire 15 years I had that range. Based on that experience, I expect this range to be entirely satisfactory.

Easy to clean and the knobs are conveniently located in the front. I also love that you don't have to worry with replacing drip pans. Overall a winner!!
