I have used gas stoves for decades so I was pleasantly surprised at how fast the burners heated and how consistent the oven baked at exactly prescribed time

This stove has great features, it’s efficient and is a great value. The only downside is the control dials on the front turn too easily (if accidentally brushing against them when scrubbing the top, it turns on). They should have to be pushed in slightly to turn the dial. It would also be beneficial to be able to get the surface cleaned to a streak free appearance without having to scrub/buff it with so much effort. As an older person with less strength in my hands and arms, it is nearly impossible to obtain a clean, new, steak free top.

Easy, great and just right

Nice and brand new. Heats up quickly and food is cooked in a timely manner. I love the stove! When I was a little boy my grandmother worked and retired from General Electric in Bridgeport, Connecticut years ago, and it reminds me of her to this very this day!

One of the burner elements arrived not clipped in underneath the glass cook top. QC must be lacking for it to come from the factory like that. Otherwise the unit seems to be as advertised.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
