Best grill I've ever used

I bought this grill a few months ago, and it has changed how I cook. Grilling used to be a chore when either making sure I don't run out of propane or managing charcoal - but all I have to do with this grill is plug it in and it's ready to go within minutes. Maintaining temperature is super easy too - the grill just holds the temperature to whatever I set it for. Cleanup is also a breeze with the self cleaning mode - it burns off everything from the grill and I just have to wipe away the ashes afterwards. Now I'm grilling instead of frying more often and enjoying tastier and healthier food!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Loses temp while cooking

We have had this for a few years. Whenever I grill anything it gets up to temp fine, but after cooking about 7 minutes I have to check the tem and it almost always has dropped about 40 degrees or more, throwing off the cooking time and making grilling a chore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

5 star for love the grill. VERY DISAPPOINTED with service to get a new heating element. we have been waiting since last June. we lost the entire summer grilling. would like a reply please. 1 star for parts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband out this together yesterday and it looks so nice! He said the packaging was great and all of the parts were very organized and easy to find. Knocking off a star because two very important bolts were missing. He had extras in his garage but some people may not have those lying around. Other than that, he said assembly was very easy. He cooked on it last night and we had a steak. It was delicious and you couldn't tell it was cooked on an electric grill. Can't wait to try cooking more things!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The installation of an app to assemble was slightly annoying. Also, the parts were labeled with letters but no where in the instructions did it mention which letter to use. This was only challenging when it came to the screws since there were a few different sizes. It only took about 30 minutes to assemble with my wife. She is the one primarily using this grill since it is very simple and easy to operate. She does not like having to light charcoal and wait and try to cook side dishes inside while a charcoal grill is going outside. This electric grill is more consistent and easy to multitask with. It did get very dirty after cooking on it two times. Once steaks and once with marinated chicken. I do not think I let the self clean mode run long enough to get it as clean as I would like it. All and all a nice small grill for a quick and easy weeknight dinner.

Game Changer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first, I was hesitant to try and outdoor electric grill because I've never seen or used one before but now I'll never go back! It is is SO nice to not have to worry about a propane tank or charcoals. This grill heats up so quickly, faster than my oven! And the best part is that it automatically maintains the temperature so you don't have to keep a constant eye on it and manually change the temperature if it gets too hot or cold. My husband and I hated having to constantly stand next to a hot grill in the summer, and while you should be checking your food periodically while cooking, you are more free to multi-task. I am really excited to add some flavored wood chips to add some smokey flavor. All of our friends that were over for a BBQ were so jealous of this grill and all said that this is the next one that they're getting!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW! This grill is a game changer on so many levels! For starters, the set up and assembly time was super quick and easy. First thing that caught my eye was the QR code to download an app with instructions on how to assemble. Putting an item together is so much easier when the directions are in 3D and virtual. The App allows you to view the grills installation process in a 360* view during each step, which is amazing and super helpful. For those who still prefer the old fashion instruction guide, don’t worry it’s in the box. Set up took the wife and I a little over an hour, nothing crazy though. Once we got it all together, we were able to see the size of this bad boy. It has more than adequate storage space under the grilling surface, which would normally be where you would store the propane tank. Also located inside the cabinet is a wire rack which holds the electrical components. I presume you could also use this area for storage since the electrical components take up less than half of the space. Two decent size side tables are included for all your prep or grilling needs. The grilling surface itself is grated which gives you the infamous grill marks. Directly underneath the grill surface is where the heating element is located, much like what you would find in your electric stove in your kitchen. The grill also comes with a removable drip container and wire brush for easy cleaning. We grilled burgers and hotdogs on it for the first time and to be honest, we really didn’t notice any difference from our propane grill to the electric grill. I mean if you ever owned or used an indoor hot plate or small kitchen grill (to remain nameless, but there are several brands out there) it’s basically the same thing, just allows you to make more at once. We are excited to use this and keep it in our travel trailer for summer camping trips. When camping season is over, we’ll get more use out of it on our deck. If you live in an apartment or condo and you are prohibited from using open flames on a balcony….this grill is certainly for you! I’ve googled a little bit and read that you could also throw some hickory wood chips or something similar in there somewhere to give your food that “smoked” flavor, so now I’m on a mission to see if I can possibly figure that out! This thing is a great addition to my grilling family, now I have electric, propane, charcoal and a hibachi style grill…I think my grilling setup is complete…just don’t tell the wife I’m eyeing up a smoker next.

Easy assembly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I assembled the grill right under an hour by myself using the written instructions/pictures provided in the box. I needed help putting the top on and aligning the electrical box. Everything needed was included and I suggest using the skinny screwdriver provided so you can turn the screws in the small spaces. The grill was a little tougher to move by myself but I plan to move it to a more stationary space so that isn’t an issue. As far as usage, I really like that this is electric as I feel more comfortable using electric and this is more compact than the gas grill I previously used. The grilling plates inside are really nice also. I am impressed with how great my meat and veggies taste using electric too. Just overall a quicker grilling experience.
