Easy to put together with one person. Takes a bit longer to get up to temperature. Looks decent, but the grates are a major pain in the butt to clean. I’m not sure if I would buy this product again because of the cooking grates.

Grill looks great. The cleaning feature is nice but takes a long time. After the first use, the grill immediately looks badly aged inside. When building it out of the box, several parts were damaged. Only reason I’m keeping it is because I don’t want to have to deal with returning it. Having a stand alone electric grill looks great, but you may be better off just getting a table top version. I’d love a refund and person to come pick it up without me having to deal with the return hassle

Assembly was made more difficult by the lack of labelling on the parts. Finally got a chance to use it a couple of times. Again, the instructions are confusing, somehow implying that one should start by heating the grill to 650 degrees before cooking. Then, at one point, it just decided to stop heating all together, so I had to restart it.

Char Broil Edge after 1 Year

So we bought the Char Broil Edge based on reviews and the size compared to other electric grills. At first we thought that maybe it was us and just had to get use to the grill. Then after more than a few times (we used our gas grill constantly) we realized that this grill did not work for meats that were marinated. It was a mess as the marinate would just go in the goves of the grill and cook onto the metal. The cooking of a steak was not much better as it was like cooking in a pan on the stove. We tried numerous solutions and cleanings and still the same end product. If this is what you want with a grill then this is your grill, in fact I will sell your mine.I have now ordered a Nepoleon Rogue grill and going back to gas. My loss of $$$ as this experiment didn't work.

piece of crap quit working second time using it. keeps shutting off sometimes gets extremely hot and burns the food. i'm currently very disappointed with this purchase and i'm hoping the customer service center can help me get this thing fixed.
