Good Technic Racecar, but not a NASCAR

I liked the idea of a buildable nascar, and while I enjoyed the build process, the finished model has a lot of design issues that many NASCAR fans like myself will not be able to ignore. Primarily the wheels, hood, steering wheel, door panels and stickers.
- The real wheels are wider than the front tires.
- The hood is too small.
- The steering wheel does not move and is not part of the steering mechanism.
- The door panels are drastically recessed inward.
Too many stickers that when applied (per the directions) leave eyesore gaps.

This model is a better fit fir NASCAR’s European series, Trans Am, IMSA, or some other sports car series, but not the NASCAR Cup Series as monikered.

I am a long time NASCAR fan . As soon as I saw this I wanted it and knew it would be fantastic. Had to wait to actually build it which killed me. I must say that it is in wonderful detail. I have assemble at least 100+ kits and this one put me to the test. There are a lot of small parts and a well thought out instruction manual. Don’t think you are going to rip open the packs and start assembling the car. I’m not a big fan of decals and these take some time to align to make it look realistic. I will say that all the time and effort was well worth it.

I love it when they play together. They share a room and now have it on a their shelf in their room. They can’t wait to show their friends. Thank you

Her brother took it over and had no troubles. very interesting and as always, lego doesnt disappoint.
