Very fun

I had fun making it . Nothing about it was repititive and the small stories in the manual was entertaining. I thought some pieces was missing so i took some of my own...but the missing pieces was in the next bag

Really enjoyable build

This is my seventh modular build, having recently got back into Lego at 43 years old. This build was really enjoyable, and I particularly liked that the jazz club occupies all three levels of the main building, which really adds to the realism of this set. I love the stain glass windows and the large jazz club sign, and the little green house that sits on top of the Taylor ship.
As others have mentioned there is an issue with the bag organization in this set, with some of the pieces required for the end of bag 12 actually being in bag 13, but I quickly realized that and it obviously doesn’t take anything away from the quality of this set.
Now I just need to figure out what I’m going to build between now and next January :D

Jazz Club

I bought this as an addition to my city as I’ve started to re-collect Lego again. I was pretty impressed by the detail, and I personally love the colors they picked for this. I love the pastel whites with the brick red and royal/light blue. The build was relatively normal, took about 7-8 hours. There is an error in the instructions however. Bag 13 has pieces that should be in bag 12, so don’t be alarmed when you think you’re missing pieces, when in reality, you’re not. All in all, a great modular by Lego.

Please fix discrepancy in directions and bag 12

The 12th bag runs out of pieces when the instructions for that bag go on for a few more pages. Fortunately those pieces are in bag 13, so ultimately all pieces are included. But not a great builder experience when you fear you’re missing pieces that far in! Otherwise, as a jazz fan this was a fun thing to build.

Good first modular build

This was my first time building a set like this. It was a lot of fun seeing it all come together. Instructions were clear except for the one error with pieces in the next bag. Glad I was warned about this. Very attractive end product, and now the mini figs are on the roof having a party with pieces from the lunar new year vip pack. 😊

Ugly expensive update needed to instructions

So far I am enjoying this, and like many others I opened bag 13 before launching the Lego "I need a replacement piece" aspect of building. While I understand that correcting the printed instructions is expensive, I also have always thought good things about Lego, and I can't imagine them being pleased that someone would gift this, only to discover such an massive mistake in the instructions.
Aside from that egregious error, I have enjoyed the build and have the Jazz Quartet lined up next (and a few others).

It’s wonderfully fun to build. The detail and design are engaging. I highly recommend it. If you’re just discovering the Icon/modular builds or long time builder, this set is awesome
and will be a fun block in your lego town.

This was my second set after building the BTS Dynamite set that I received as a gift. It was great fun, directions are well written and easy to follow. As soon as I was done I ordered Assembly Square! I think the Lego bug has bitten me!
