Bad idea

The two hands are unnecessary and since the hands don't close properly, they just look kinda weird. I decided to remove so I basically just wasted time building them. The head is ok but this should've just been a part of the Marvel helmet collection. It would've looked a lot better and would've had a better price. Hopefully Lego still decide to make a new Black Panther head for the helmet collection because I would definitely buy and enjoy that

My new favorite display piece!!!

This build is most definitely one of my top 5 favorites in the lego room! Building this beast was a very fun and challenging experience for any hardcore Marvel/Lego fans like myself, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves and appreciates Black Panther and the legacy he represents. Even with no minifigures included, this set is worth the price and I am most satisfied with my purchase!!

Meh 🫤 Experience

Massive marvel fan. Was torn when I saw the bust in the DTD Lego store, and made a snap buy, as my next large build. Cool. But the overall thrill and some wonky fits for the curvature of the head, left me wishing I had bought the Titanic piece instead. Love my big builds, and this one left me feeling a bit bored and meh 🫤 when done, 6 hours later. On to the next one 🤷🏼♂️
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wakanda Forever!

I was so excited when I found out about this new set. I am a huge Marvel fan and loved the concept of a full bust of T’Challa. I almost didn’t make the purchase when I saw all of the bad reviews regarding his hands! I discussed it with my son and we chose to make the purchase and if we didn’t like the “jazz hands” people had described, I could simply display the bust only. I was so thankful I purchased it and found that the fingers do in fact fold into a fist. I am not sure what people are missing with the final steps to put the fingers together, but I had no issues with my build. I do recommend that you purchase a large baseplate for this bust. It fit on there perfectly and supports it well. It is very sturdy and heavy so you may want to build it with a “home” in mind so that you have a place to display it that can handle the size! I was pleasantly surprised by the size. It was worth the price to me. I am a new Lego enthusiast and liked this experience so much that I have also now purchased the new Sanctum Sanctorum. This is a great activity for parents and children to enjoy together! In this digital age it’s neat to see that Lego continues to create sets that are NOT just for the kiddos.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible build

I bought this set on its release date & was ecstatic to put it together! Of all the sets I’ve built this one has the worst assembly. At certain points I had to use an excessive amount of force just for the bricks to click together, some instructions will have you construct a large portion of something then adding a smaller brick somewhere that isn’t stable. It resulted in me having to take the face apart & shake the head just to find the piece that had fallen. The only thing that saves this set is the finished product itself.

Great set, bad price. It’s a great set but way too massive and expensive. I wish it could have been like the smaller helmet sets from Star Wars. That aside, there is a considerable amount of detail in the set which likely couldn’t be achieved with a smaller bust. Most complain about the hands but I think it adds a nice touch. When I see it I immediately think of Chadwick Boseman in character giving the “Wakanda Forever” salute. Rest easy, King!

Love the Idea

Loved the idea behind this set. Had a good time building it had some small issues I do agree with some of the other reviews and wished the hands were more secure or something different altogether. It is a bit over priced not sure if it’s due to the size of the project. But overall it was a great time building it.
