Worst Product Ever

I have made a lot of Harry Potter Lego but never have a I come across a series that it so poorly designed and has no play/display value. The item falls apart with the slightest movement and it is so frustrating to put back together without other parts falling off. This is definitely the worst Lego product I have ever had the displeasure of trying to build.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Normally I buy legos for my kids. My oldest child is autistic and legos are something he hyper focuses on and calms him. However, I discovered my own love of legos in helping him build his own creations. This slytherin banner was right up my ally as a Harry Potter enthusiast. The directions were easy to follow as usual and the build itself is very detailed and looks great on display. I plan to get the other house banners as well since I had so much fun with this one. Thanks Lego for Bringing families together!

Slytherin Common Room

I grew up with the original Lego Harry Potter Slytherin Common Room build. (Set 4735) so when this was released I was very excited!
First off I liked the idea of 2 sets in one, You can make it into a Slytherin flag banner and a common room. That's really creative! I also liked the set's color and architectural design of the set. The set looks and feels like the Slytherin common room. I felt like the size of the set was okay: personally, it was tailored to my needs of being a display set (decoration) on a living room shelf.
Being an adult I am not sure if I could comment much on the "play experience". I think most kids will enjoy it okay but might be frustrated by how many stickers are included with this set. The one downside of this set is that it is slightly overpriced in my opinion.
Overall I was very impressed with the set's design, idea, and color scheme.
I give this set a 4.5/5 stars.

Great set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lego set was great for my lego obsessed children. It was easy to set up for my 11 year old. He finished it in a couple of hours because he loves to build and create. The slytherin is a cool room that can be folded into the house banner and hung up in your house!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Falls apart!

Have all the previous books built solid. This is the second one of this style I have built and they are flimsy and fall apart easily disappointed was hoping the rooms would have been more solid like the books but there designed poorly.

I love the idea of this set but really it's so frustrating to put together. The instructions are confusing and it's pretty flimsy. I constantly had pieces falling off while attaching another piece.

Cool yet disappointing

We love Harry Potter and trying out my favorite house was great at first until we could not store any figures or parts easily in this banner, the backdrop can slip out easily, and if you press too hard, can make the parts come apart to a small degree. Great idea, disappointing execution.

Really flimsy. Fell completely apart when I was putting on the finishing touches. I didn't think it was worth the effort to try to put it back together. It's just going to get parted out. Cool idea just not well designed unfortunately.
