As i’ve said with my other reviews, it is wonderful Lego has brought back the Indiana Jones theme. However, the lack of advertisement for its return was sad. Nonetheless, the Fighter Plane Chase makes for a great playset and has some nice minifigures. The price per piece is fair (FINALLY). However, once Lego sees how well this theme actually does, I fear they will hike up the prices. There are 2 things that could make this set even better: one being the inclusion of a couple birds/seagulls, the other would be the inclusion of the individual Indy stole the car from. Once again it’s great Lego has brought back Indiana Jones. We need that Temple of Doom set now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I absolutely love this set. The pricing, the minifigure and vehicle designs, everything! I was thoroughly impressed with this set and can't wait to pick up the other two! LEGO, continue making Lego Indiana Jones sets! They're great.

I just finished building this set right as the scene it recreates played in the movie. It’s great to have new Indiana Jones and at a reasonable price. Henry and Junior look great. The build is fun and the little accessories help to capture the fun of this movie. The canopy sticker was a bit challenging and mine is a bit smudgy from a couple of false starts but overall I found the built to be enjoyable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Little hands will need help with stickers

A pleasant set that captures the movie scene in a playful way. Little (and big) hands will need help with the clear canopy sticker. It is frustrating to center it just right. False starts will result in white finger smudges and bubbles. It would be nice if LEGO provided a duplicate sticker sheet in the box for a second chance or, better, included a printed piece for clear, round parts.

Truly Conflicted About This Set.

Let me start with saying this: I love this set, but how could they screw it up?
I am a huge Indiana Jones fan, so when they spoke of releasing some new sets for the Anniversary I was more than excited.
I was joyed to see this set, but I have some issues with it. I didn't expect LEGO to go to true movie realism with the swastika emblems on the plane, so that doesn't bother me. But there are two things about the plane that are so wrong when it comes to accuracy of the film, a film that's been out for over three decades. 1 The Propeller only has two blades in the film, why they gave us a 4 bladed prop, I have no idea. Also, the guns are mounted above the engine not on the wings. I get LEGO doesn't really want to make military vehicles, so I get the gun things, but the propeller kind of lazy to not get right, thus leaving me to Pick A Brick the pieces to build an appropriate propeller.
Also, this set needs 100% more seagulls. :)

CANOPY STICKER IS GARBAGE

Guys be careful
The sticker for Canopy is extremely hard to put perfect.Mine is ripped completely and asked replacement stickers just now.I used tweezers and steady hands too.Air bubbles are inevitable
