Not so Random

I bought 2 of these 6 packs with the hopes of receiving at least half of the figures I wanted. Keep in mind that 5-6 of the 12 possible figures piqued my interest and I would've been happy to receive one or multiples of almost half of the figures that could end up in either box. I ended up with 2 nearly identical boxes with only one variation in the figures. Besides the 2 copies of the falconer (unopened in the picture) and the 2 non-duplicates, I ended up with 4 pairs of figures I just did not care for. 5 out of the 6 figures being the same in each box indicates that they aren't actually random. My best guess is that these boxes were packed "similarly" and just thrown into the same order without consideration. Based on other reviews, this seems to be a recurring phenomenon. At best, I can recommend buying one box if you don't have a preference for what figures you get. Buy more than one within the same order with the expectation of getting multiple duplicates. (Side note: I ordered two of the singles packs with my order as well and received my third falconer and carrot mascot. I'm sure that was just by random chance as well ;) )

Too many duplicates

I ordered three boxes and got the same six minifigs three times (I had six different minifigs in each box, but those same minifigs were duplicated across the other two boxes). The bags were literally in the same order in each of the boxes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No way these are random

Bought 5 of these boxes and I’m fairly certain there’s a pattern to these boxes. If you’re unlucky you’ll get boxes with pretty much the same figures. This definitely happened with the first 3 boxes I got, which left me 5 short. I made up the last 5 on two additional boxes - and mostly off 1. This just doesn’t seem random, which is concerning for a consumer

Same 6 figures per box

I've purchased these 6 packs boxes over the last three series and they basically are grouped into "sets". I purchased 2 boxes, got 6 different figures per box, but the figure set was the same in both boxes.
Does not seem to be random, appears to be two different sets floating about, that will occasionally have one figure different than the rest.
Other's experiences may vary, but that's what has happened to me over the last year or so.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Disappointed, feel cheated

I was very disappointed after receiving this. I assumed I would get 6 unique minifigs when I bought it, but that was not the case... I will admit it does not guarantee no duplicates in the product description, it is still very disappointing when 5 of the 6 minifigures were duplicates. It is very frustrating to feel like I wasted my money on this purchase.

What Are The Chances?

I ordered two 6-figure boxes online. They got to me in a timely manner and I was anxious to see how I did. I opened the first one to get the paper with them, but used my good old feeling fingers to figure out it was #9, the artist with the pottery wheel. I continued, and got #1, 2, 3, 6, and 12. That’s pretty good, six different ones in the same box. However, the second box had the same six figures, the exact same ones. They are unopened, but I still have to sell them or something. I’m not sure the thrill of completing the series is worth it.

Duped again

Fantastic series of minifigures. However, the frustrating issue that continues to dog LEGO with these releases is that a single 6 pack can contain multiple duplicates of minifigures (my 6 Pack contained two sets of duplicates). Customers without access to LEGO new releases at local stores theorize that buying the 6 Pack is a “safer” bet than relying on buying 6 individual bags and having the packers at the warehouse randomly grab 6 blind bags to fulfill their order. The 6 Packs used to be a safer option but more recently, not so much. And that’s a shame. (The LEGO warehouse single blind bag option isn’t much better this time around - I received all duplicate minifigures in those bags I ordered.) With the new packaging coming out at the end of the year that will end the ability to “feel” which minifigure is in the packaging, isn’t it about time that LEGO sell the complete series of 12 minifigures in its own special 12 Pack? Those of us who want to buy more single will continue to buy blind packaging. Just give us a way fair way to get the series without putting multiple duplicates into 6 packs and the like. And please don’t tell us to trade.

This really should be advertised as "a 2-3 pack", and when you consider how many duplicates you get, the cost per unique Minifigure is ridiculous. There's no reason each box shouldn't contain 6 random, unique units.
