I love Iron Man but…

I really bought this set because I’m a big fan of iron man, I love the set, amazing to build, stable when standing, outstanding size and shape, you can feel the strength of the Lego when fully assembled, some small pieces are a little bit delicate as they fall off easily, but in general I really love my hulk buster and the size of it, the only concern is the prices and how Lego has been focusing on generating more money rather than focusing on what customers are saying, I mean this company is where it is now because of us, so please Lego focus on what really matters…
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Poor By Lego Standards

Very bad look for the price to be so off and to have the figure which should have been included sold separately. Looks like Lego is aggressively moving away from its simple, joyful, euro-western, family-oriented toy roots to become a luxury collectibles brand for the woke elite. Lego is starting to feel as hollow and global-corporate as the hulkbuster itself.

Not worth it

I’m a big iron man fan and ordered this set the minute it came out. I started to build it and like many others have said it is not laid out well. Pieces fall off easily and the legs are not secured. I finished the first two books and tried to move the set before finishing it. The legs popped out and I am surprised that for the money lego did not at least secure the legs. If I could i would return asap and get my money back which is disappointing

I hate loving it

Yes, this set is absolutely overpriced and flawed. But people, it’s Lego I built the original and took it apart almost immediately to build a different version. An absolute buy if you’re willing to challenge yourself and build Lego like it was meant to be. Even after my version I found one that looked way better than anything I could create at the moment and went for a third round of building.

Terrible price

This figure is GROSSLY over priced. For the piece count and ONLY ONE mini figure the price is a complete joke. The engineering could have far better for the price as well. The knee joints could have used a more solid option (Star Wara AT-AT), but to the cheap route. In addition the build dimensions are horrible based on the gimmick to include the smaller Iron Man figure. All in all this is one of Lego’s worst sets of all time.

I bought this set at my local Lego store in South Florida. I have been building sets for 15 years, off and on. This one was the second time I considered throwing the set away. The first time was the Saturn 5 set, which I gave away.
Yes, the rumours are true, pieces aren't tightly fitted and will fall off. Yes, the legs and chest are the biggest areas of delicacy and frustration. Yes, the set is too fragile to play with.
I had to use...glue. GLUUUUE! Otherwise, I would still be putting pieces on. I would appreciate it if Lego gave me at least 1,000 VIP points in return for my disappointing experience. I had to use glue, y'all.

this was quite a challenge but I finished it in about 2-3 hours. I wish you didn't have to buy another set to "finish it"

This was an absolutely amazing set. I’m 9 and this was a simple build (besides the arms.) I built it in 7 hours but I’ve been building since I was 3 over all it was interesting building techniques I’ve never seen.
I would recommend this to a friend!
