I'm a dwarf & I'm diggin a hole! Diggy diggy hole!

...okay, now that that's out of the way, let's get to reviewing this. (C'mon, LEGO, you kind of brought that on yourselves by mentioning one of the minifigures is a dwarf. *Someone* was going to reference the classic Yogscast song. ;)) This is an exceptional LEGO recreation of part of the Ancient City, giving us a full-scale recreation of the top of the Barracks and a miniaturized Entrance column that is absolutely fun to make collapse. Probably my favorite part of this set is the fact that we finally have hoes, and this one is enchanted, no less, probably with Silk Touch to bring the various Skulk blocks home. You get two each of the Sensors, Shriekers, and Catalysts, and while I'm not the biggest fan of Dots-style building, it's fun nevertheless and recreates the Skulk Veins well.
The only major con I have found is that the Warden has a hard time staying on his platform if you raise it too fast. I recommend keeping it to the in-game summon speed for optimal results.
Also, LEGO, what *is* that 3-long pin piece with stop? Now I'm going to have an even harder time differentiating my LEGO from my pen pieces! (Although it wouldn't surprise me if that piece has existed for a while on the inside of LEGO pens. I wouldn't know, though; never could get mine open.)
Overall, this is a great set that recreates Minecraft's official taking-off-the-gloves reveal as a kid-friendly horror game that isn't too hard on the bank. I definitely would recommend this to parents, though maybe not ones of young and/or sensitive children.

My 9 year-old loved it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is a Minecraft lover’s dream! It features The Warden from Minecraft’s recent release. There are 5 bags and the instructions are organized by bag. It is very easy to follow along. My 9 year-old was able to follow along with minimal help and she was so proud of the final result! The Warden looks awesome and he has a platform with a knob that raises him up. My daughter played with this set for hours after completing the build and had fun summoning the Warden and raising him up.

He loves playing minecraft and this set is themed into one of his favorite games! Hours of fun and entertainment and let them set their imagination and creativity with these amazing lego sets!

My son Ioves how the warden moves, and he thinks that the tower that blows up is really cool! He loves playing with his new set! He is 7, and was able to build this independently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves legos and mind craft is his favorite. This was perfect for him he is 7 and he loves building them with his dad. It came with instructions and it was easy to follow and put together. Lots of bold colors which is awesome. It is super fun and interactive for a child to play with and even adults. Overal I would buy again based on the level of easiness and level of fun my kid had.

Great Lego set
