After fully charging it it lost connection via wireless and wired link on both pcs that I used it on. While troubleshooting the Armory it went dead losing the charge. Ended up mailing it back the next day. My first disappointment from ASUS after years of buying their mobos and other parts.

The mouse is nearly perfect. The replaceable L/R click actuators is such a nice feature (two extras included) - sweet! The Armory Crate software certainly gets the job done and the Aura Creator software is a nice added touch. This mouse kicks butt with it's great foot print and solid feel, that fits my larger hand very nicely. The magnetic charging storage cradle is very convenient. Two lightweight and flexible USB cables are great for wired gaming and second cable can be left attached to the charging stand. Completely customizable RGB wheel, logo and 6 aux buttons makes a nice show of color. The only complaint I have is the wheel "middle click" actuator is a very light touch making it easy to accidently middle click during a wheel scroll. This mouse is easily recommended.

i feel it would have been better with a bigger thumb rest. the thumb rest now is so small that i keep hitting the buttons by accident trying to hold and move the mouse

Best all-around gaming mouse, for multiple genres

The best gaming mouse I've had in a long time. I play some MMO games and some that are more FPS style games. While this is the heaviest mouse I've ever had, it is actually the smoothest mouse I have used. Partly due to the fact that its wireless and no wire dragging or tugging on it when I move it around. And other part is the feet that this has on it. They are super smooth.
The eye on the side is only 6 buttons, which would seem like it would be bad for a MMO gamer. But if you don't use all your skills, then you can remap your skills or even make macros that will allow a single button to trigger multiple skills. For me, I focused more on certain combat skills and certain healing skills, therefore, I put those on the 6 keys. And with the 6 keys, I set them up in such a way that when I press Ctrl+(mouse 6 keys here) I get the heal skills, but if I don't then I get the combat skills. If you are like me, you will likely find that you will have access to the skills you use all the time, versus the skills that you rarely need.
I also play some FPS style games, although I'm not actively competing or even trying to be a professional gamer. I find that the weight is not even noticeable from the mouse. The mouse fits my had well and allows me to play those games well. However, I will admit one thing that I love about this mouse. The weight is just right. its right in the middle of my palm and therefore allows me to flick the mouse like a lightweight mouse but with what I feel is better control. Its a personal preference of mine, I've always added weights to all my mice that I've owned, and this is the first one that came from the manufacturer as heavy as I could want.
Also, since I use my system for work related stuff, I have another profile on this mouse geared to that. Even with one of the side eye buttons set up for hiding all my windows on my monitor to maintain confidentiality and privacy that is important in a workplace environment.

I would highly recommend this mouse. The ROG Spatha X is a perfect mouse for any gamer that doesn't strictly play MMOs or FPS games.

Seems good so far. Only have 1hr usint it. Lighter than my logitech 602. Definitely for big hands. Really enjoy the ring finger rest. I like a palm grip and have larger hands.
