Love grilling on my Blackstone but has rust on the cover and under griddle.

Cover and under griddle started rusting within months of use, despite keeping it covered. The griddle is good as I have seasoned and maintained it as instructed, there was no information given on how to protect the rest of the blackstone from rust. I keep it covered while on the deck, but we live in a humid environment and I store it in the garage during winter months. I would give a 5 star review but the rust brings down my review.
