Why is the left side closer to the flame

Pretty simple to put together. Burner knob was missing insert so not able to install it.

Problems with Assembly

Hood had chipped paint and rust at unboxing. Shear bolt does not fit in mounted bracket for the LPG hook.
Have not cooked on it yet so unable to review that at this time.
