A solid design with great features at a very low price

This multi-function printer and scanner was evidently designed some time ago, but it is still in production. This tells me that the design is strong and the production quality is high. I had no problem in setting it up for a USB connection using downloaded drivers for a "Canon Generic Plus UFR II V265". I did not use the set-up disc. The printer outputs the first page very quickly and the print quality is excellent. The scanner has up to 600 ppi resolution and you have complete control of the scan characteristics. I have found that Canon scanners give you much more control than other brands.
I am using the printer with a Windows 10 computer. I see from other reviews that setting up a wifi connection is more complex, but a number of uers have been successful. I think the key is finding the correct drivers. Wireless printing and scanning would be convenient, but I am happy with a usb connection and I feel that the price of the cost of the MF262dw II is well worth it even without fully using its wireless capabilities.

I bought this printer a couple of months ago, because customer reviews were good. It lives up to its reputation. The printer was incredibly easy to set up and prints fast. I went back to a toner printer because I was tired of the cost of ink cartridges and having the ink jets clog. This printer will be cheaper to maintain.

Quick and easy printing!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The setup was very easy to do by someone with no printer knowledge which was very helpful. Once I got it setup I ran through and did a few small printer jobs and then a few large printing jobs it did these both very quickly and the pages looked very good. I have a similar laser printer, also canon, and it seems to have beat that little thing.
