Robust construction

The weight gives away the quality of the unit. It did have plastic & paper between the halves which I don't think is really needed and you have to seperate the two halves to remove it anyways.
It is very good value for the money, I have been keeping my eye out for a good griddle for the last two years and pounced on this one when I saw it.
