I only cooked on the grill 3 times so far but I love it compared to the portable Bbq and we had a name brand one. This cooks so much more efficient and I think it cooks steaks much better when we are camping.

This griddle is a great buy. Fit and finish are good and the quality feels good. So far with the seasoning and three cooks in I’m very happy. I bought it for my wife so she can grill whenever she wants and it’s not so intimidating like my big grills/smokers.

Blackstone better start paying attention to the market. I’ve noticed spinoff models and some better quality to. Customer service is almost non existent. My top was severely warped upon receiving and I just cope with it. Eggs almost run into the grease trap. Just got to learn how to cook on them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Igniters do not work

Opened box and set up to condition and season and now I’m spending my morning trying to figure out why the igniters do not work.

Some quality issues

Box was perfect! Everything involved was great until I had to remove the paper and plastic protecting the griddle. While trying to remove the griddle to remove the paper and plastic underneath I saw the bolts connecting to the hood were partially stripped. I would refer to this as a quality control issue. Once bolts were removed I discovered locking nut was missing from one of the bolts. Another quality control issue. Overall everything is still functional but is concerning.

The quality on the griddle is really nice and I can't wait to use it. Be careful while unpacking the product, the top and bottom halves are 2 separate pieces and can fall apart when unpacking.

Cooks a lot of food for this size. 80 hotdogs at times. Does have hot spots so you have to learn the griddle is not equal.
