Mid Dishwasher and doesn’t dry dishes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using this dishwasher for the last three weeks or so and it’s just okay. For one it takes too long to complete an entire cycle(like an hour minimum) and two it never dries the dishes. Even with the high temp selected. I believe it is lacking external ventilation. I’m not mad at the price since it replaced our old washer that was dead for 2 years but still too much money to spend on something that doesn’t dry the dishes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product for our beach house !

Whirlpool used to be a good name

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son-in-law and daughter bought this for me in late January. Although I always scrape my dishes, after the first two weeks or so, it no longer got the dishes clean. Whirlpool corporate office contact suggested I call a service tech. When he came out he said that the upper and lower arms were clogged. He said that the dishes have to be absolutely clean before you wash them in the machine; or the arms will clog and there is no way to clean them; they have to be replaced. What kind of crazy is that??!!! Costs me more for water and time. Never had this problem with other brands of dishwashers I have had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the previous model of this for years and was very happy. I found this newer one has a very flimsy feeling upper rack. It wobbles when being pulled out, and just does not have a stable heavier feel to it. Otherwise, cleans dishes very well and is quiet enough.
