No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

parts fail after 6 months

Sump pump and control board failed at only 6 months. Under warranty for a year. Appears these are not built to last.

Great machine for the price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with this purchase. I love the look and blended perfectly with my other whirlpool appliances. I like the fact that it is fingerprint resistant which is ideal with little kids around. It is very quiet and works really well. I would have given it a perfect 5 but the drying is an issue. It is set at the extended dry but some of the top loads still need extra hand drying. I haven’t tried using the rinse aid. I’ll give it a try and hopefully it will help the drying.
