Masks comfort of the mattress. Extremely scratchy texture. Noisy material

Bought the protector along with the Mint Hybrid.
I love the hybrid. The mattress protector gets points for being usable like a fitted sheet.
But the protector is incredibly scratchy to the touch and noisy when slept on. Putting it on over the hybrid and then the sheets over top is like sleeping on a layer of Styrofoam. The heat dissipation from the Mint Hybrid also falls off a cliff on this.
I got this to protect my investment but if it takes away all of the benefits of the mattress, it doesn't seem worth it.
I'd recommend getting this if you're maybe looking to move and transport the mattress. But sleeping on it has been incredibly uncomfortable.

The cost of this mattress protector is way more than I could have got from other companies, but because I have a tuft and needle mattress, I was expecting this one to fit perfectly, so was willing to pay more. Now that I've owned for several weeks, it does no better job than my other brand of mattress protector at staying in place, in fact it might be worse. I feel like this was a waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Seems well made with durable stitching and of sturdy protective material. The fit is too loose. I would have preferred a tighter fit.
