Does the job of protecting the mattress but is loud and slippery. Yes, slippery. Being that is it sold as a Tuft and Needle mattress protector, it should fit snugly on the mattress but instead has enough depth to accommodate thicker mattresses. This extra room allows it to move around and get bunched up. Maybe send mattress protector with corner clips to secure it more securely?

This may be too much information but our dog sleeps in bed with my husband and I. There was an incident one night. I can tell you that the mattress cover saved the mattress. Nothing got through. I believe a mattress cover of less quality would not have protected it as well. You get what you pay for.
