I like the idea of protecting the mattress, we are on the road in a semi and I cover the bed with table cloth and thick towel, small piece of countertop and pull out a pic cooktop to cook healthy food for us - sometimes things spill - I like that now I can remove cover, wash and replace... But it makes the bed very slippery. The Truck and therefore the bed is almost always in motion and unlike just mattress and sheet now we slide around when on the bed... the contact between mattress top and the inside of the protector is much too smooth, I bought some straps to clip on underneath but I think it would be better it the two touching surfaces where not so slippery, if not gripping each other to stay in place ~ if you do something to change it I’d let to know so I can get a new protector. We love the mattress so far, because of when we got to pick it up from the location it was mailed to and a couple hotel nights we have only slept on it 6 nights so far... no complaints yet.

Only had bed for 10 days, but for the price paid, the comfort level is equal to that of a base tempur-pedic that I purchased years ago. So far, so good!

I was impatient and expected a fantastic nights sleep right away.
Right away for me was 3 weeks later as I was comfortable sleeping in a recliner for health reasons.
My back pains are gone, and I sleep the most comfortable that I can remember. No more waking up every couple of hours and trying to get back to sleep.
Not kidding but my cat did not like it at first either. Now he impatiently waits to go to bed and joins me. It has become as much his bed as mine.
I truly consider this one of the best investments I ever made and as they say, "wish I had done this years ago."
The staff has been a pleasure to work with also !

The protector seems like it will be water and stain repellent and help the mattress last longer.
