Poor Quality, I washed the mattress protector before use as directed. Took forever to dry and the top of the protector frayed (pulled, picked) in several places

It’s HOT. We used another mattress protector on our old T&N mattress and our mattress wasn’t hot at all. This protector is thick and doesn’t breathe well. It’s not plasticky or crinkly which is nice but it doesn’t breathe so we wake up sweating every morning.
