I did a lot of research and read reviews- I am glad I purchased this. My mattress is very firm. My boyfriend complained it was too hard, got this topper- I had no idea that my bed could be this comfortable. AND- I don't wake up sweating anymore. It has a cooling effect. I am happy with the purchase! oh, and no weird smell when you open it. Its ready to use right away.

Really helped with my shoulder pain. I have a very hard mattress and this made it more cozy. I put it under my mattress cover and then put the sheet on top to stabilize it. Very happy!

After 2 nights of sleep, the topper became permanently indented where my I slept. I only weigh 115 lbs. It’s a quality issue.

Waste of money. Flimsy and cheap feeling.

This topper is so thin and the foam is so soft that it does nothing to cushion a firm mattress. It is NOT memory foam.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very happy to have bought this. I sleep on a Japanese-style futon and needed just a little bit of extra padding to get the right amount of firmness. Everyone is different; I am pretty thin and have scoliosis, so I need firmness for my back but just enough padding for my hips. This topper helped me accomplish that.
It hasn't slid around for me, but I also have a tight fitted sheet and don't have a traditional mattress. Someone had mentioned a smell associated with this topper so I was worried because I am usually sensitive to those things. However, I have had it for months now and haven't noticed anything. This topper was worth the investment.

How to fix slide and heat

We've been using these Toppers on our tuft & needle beds for at least 7 years and the trick is to take off the cover and just use the foam underneath a mattress pad preferably cotton.
Once the cover is off it breathes fine and it does not slip especially if you put it on a gorilla grip pad in between the mattress and the topper the problem is not the foam it is the cover which is slippery and does not allow air flow. Otherwise this makes the tuft and needle absolutely perfect.

This thing is garbage and makes me wish I never bought the mattress. I have this on top of my king mint mattress. The mattress was too hard for me and this was a perfect compromise for me and my partner. For a few months at least. The first issue is it’s smaller than the mattress, maybe 2 inches on one side so it doesn’t reach the end of the bed. I thought I had it wrong so spun it every way but nope, just too short. Now the bigger issue. It doesn’t stay put. The bottom has something that appears to be for grip but it doesn’t work. And it doesn’t secure to the mattress in any way so if you sit up in bed with your back on the headboard it slides down. I ignore it because I don’t want to fix it 3 times a week. Eventually I have to fix it because it hurts my back if it slips down far enough that my shoulders are not resting on it. Terrible quality, maybe mines just defective but it’s enough to make me steer people away from T&N.
