Soft, but overheats quickly

We got this to make our t&n mattress softer as my hips were hurting from side sleeping. The topper is made of foam that heats up really quickly and retains heat. I would heat up the topper, then roll to a cooler area, come back after 5-10mins, and the original area was still warm. The softness was nice, but I couldn’t sleep because I kept overheating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The topper is very soft - totally made my hard mattress comfortable. AND it did NOT produce heat - I consider it heat neutral, it was a big concern for me. It doesn't cool, but I think it does a good job of dissipating heat, if this is a concern from reading other reviews. Totally recommend this for softening up a hard mattress and relieving surface pressure points. Thank you!

Our Tuft and Needle Mattress is amazing, this topper made it level up. My back and neck love the firmness of the mattress, then this topper is easier on my joints and extremely comfortable. It does slide slightly and needs readjustments when you make the bed daily, but the slide isn't enough for me to say it is not a good addition to our sleep needs. Would highly recommend.

I purchased a new medium-firm coil mattress in May. Because of fibro, hip bursitis and pinched nerves in my neck, I was switching out different toppers depending on where my pain was the worst. I finally decided to try the T&N topper in Dec. It works amazingly well for those pain areas, especially the hips if you're a side sleeper like me. My only issue is it's a bit too soft for my SI joint area & arthritis in my lower back. I don't think there's a perfect solution that would cover all of my pain issues, but the T&N topper is as close as I've gotten. I still wake up during the night, but not as often. It doesn't sleep hot, and so far it's held it's original shape. My arthritic, senior dog seems to really like sprawling out on it for her afternoon nap.

We needed something to add a little more cushion and support for our Tuft & Needle mattress, something both my wife and I would be happy with. The T&N topper exceeded expectations. I think it helps keep you cool and provides additional comfort and cushioning. We ended up buying a plush mattress topper to put over this one and like it a lot better that way. We are happy with our purchase.
