Great style, strong, and easy to assemble. However, we were a little bit disappointed with the gap between the box spring and the edge of the T&N frame. It seemed that the 3/4” tolerance was a bit too much.

Box foundation is kind of convenient when getting mattress delivery but it’s seriously overpriced for what you get!! I have a feeling these mattress in a box places are geared towards people that don’t use a box spring because it wasn’t even offered for set up. It wasn’t hard to set up but it was definitely a pain considering I paid for the mattress installation and removal

Yes, you do need this if you are using the matress in a standard bedframe. We thought we could get by without the box foundation, but the bed sat way too low in the bed frame and I had to buy and cut wood for the 'cross' supports.
Buy the Tuft & Needle box foundation. It is easy to assemble and has a good looking cloth finish. It is worth the money.
