This box spring is high. It does not work with the bed we have. We have an antique twin and the mattress with the box spring makes the bed extremely high. Additionally the bed slides around on the box spring, so if you pop up on the bed with too much force the bed moves!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Box foundation didn't fit together well at all. Was a struggle to set up, and once I finally did the flats were naturally bent so they didn't lay flat to the foundation. Total mess. If it wasn't such a large box and hassle I would have returned it.
