Long overdue replacement and worth the expense

Solidly made, easy to put together (definitely helped to have two people). I didn't think the foundation would do anything to improve our now 8 year old, but still amazing Tuft & Needle mattress. I bought it to minimize the dust now collecting around the torn fabric under layer of the over 20 year old foundation we had (how did that happen?!) It wasn't awful, but I thought it would help my husband's allergies to be rid of it. Not only is the dust issue solved - no fabric under layer means no hangout spot for dust bunnies, but I swear the mattress is more firm (a good thing for my back) and I have slept like a log every night since. My only minor compliant isn't worth a star - the bed creaks a bit now when my husband gets out of bed where the slats meet the edges, so I'm sure it needs an adjustment to resolve. It's not enough to be bothersome, just something we noticed.
