The box foundation is worth every penny. It’s super easy to assemble, well made and looks great. If you are using it directly on the floor, without the legs, it will provide extra/seasonal storage space too.

I bought the box foundation because I wanted the mattress to sit off the ground without necessarily having to buy a whole bed frame. While it's easy to put together, it has the feel of being somewhat cheaply made. I do like how the box foundation is covered in fabric so that if your duvet or quilt doesn't quit cover it up, it's not unsightly. The color of the fabric is a nice unobtrusive shade of grey. However, due to the price, I'd say it's a fair value for the money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The foundation was well-packaged and arrived in excellent condition. The assembly was quick, very simple. I like the grey colored cloth covering over the side and end pieces and how there are 12 slats that are enclosed in a cloth covering, six slats each. It took five minutes to assemble. This is a well-made, solid and stable foundation. I am very pleased with the quality.
