It was easy to assemble and is sturdy. I would recommend you keep your old box spring, because the bed will be lower than what you are used to.

This foundation was very easy to put together. I was able to assemble it by myself, in under 30 minutes. It is well made and looks great. Also does not squeak or creak. The price was fair and shipping was very prompt. I ended up purchasing a Tuft & Needle mattress as well due to the pleasant experience with the box foundation.
