We got rid of our old box spring and needed something to raise the new mattress. This box foundation is perfect. It was so simple to put together! I'd purchase one of these for a regular mattress before I'd buy another box spring.

This ended up being a take it or leave it situation for me. I am giving it 5 stars because I decided to get it as part of my new bed set up and I have no concerns. It is simply a lightweight platform that raises your mattress up about 5", there is no spring to it or anything like that. It is nice being elevated but I could easily have skipped it and simply had the mattress sit directly on the bedframe, or if I wanted to forgo a bedframe, I'm sure the mattress would have been fine on the floor as well. As it stands, having the mattress elevated feels pretty grown-up after a lifetime of sleeping on a floor mattress. I think the height also gives the bed a more polished look when made.

Sturdy, quiet, lightweight and easy to assemble and move. Love the color too, goes with anything. Definitely recommend it if you need some extra height for your T&N mattress - beats the pants off a heavy, squeaky traditional box-spring.

The box foundation was very simple to put together. This system will be easy to transport when taken apart in the event of a move. This box foundations was paired with a tuft and needle mattress.

A very nice product. I was disappointed, however, that written instructions explaining how to assemble it were not included in the box. Instructions are available on the company website, but I wonder how customers who do not have ready access to, or proficiency with, a computer can assemble this properly.
