It's really great if you need a waterproof mattress pad--for that purpose it's a 10. However, if we didn't need a waterproof pad, I think it is not optimally comfortable/breathable.

It fit perfectly, was easy to put over the mattress, and appears to be high quality. It isn't yucky plastic.
