The material is plasticated on the side that touches the mattress. Looks like it fits very well to the mattress. However, it Does not cling to the mattress itself very well. Making the sheets bunch up, slip and slide every time you get in and out of the bed. Waste of money.

I really like texture of this mattress, but it slides around a bit too much. I wish it was a right fit on the mattress.

High quality mattress protector that fits my Mint mattress perfectly and is barely detectable under the sheets - no crinkly/plastic-y feeling or sound. If you're going to get a high quality mattress, you should protect that investment! And being that a foam mattress is basically a gigantic sponge, it is, in my opinion, absolutely necessary to have a quality mattress protector. Would definitely recommend to anyone who purchases a T&N mattress - or to anyone looking for a great mattress protector for any mattress!
