We have the twin protector on our toddlers twin sized original mattress. It’s held up well to potty accidents over the last year, but recently he had another accident and it went right through the protector to soak the mattress! I was just about to buy a King version because I love the feel and quiet of it, but if it doesn’t actually protect the mattress what is the point?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You're buying a nice mattress - get a good mattress protector

Since we replaced our mattress, we decided to replace the mattress protector even though the Tempur-pedic one we had fit. The Tuft & Needle cover is better. Fits perfectly and works well - already spilled a little on it.

I haven't done anything to my queen mattress that should put the protector under any stress, so I guess that means that the protector has been perfectly doing its job. It also doesn't seem to make the bed any less soft or anything like that, so that's nice.
