Very simple to put together. We like that it comes in pieces because we live in an older home with a narrow stairway so it works great from getting upstairs.

This base is sturdy and easy to put together but it’s bigger than the T&N Box Foundation by quite a bit. I expected a tight fit since these products are meant to be used together.

Strong and easy to assemble. The gap between the Cal King box and the long edge of the metal base was a bit too much for my liking. I understand it is a tolerance issue.

The bed frame is very low and needs slats to hold the bed or a box spring as an alternative. A box spring would need at least two slats per section.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
