Very comfortable. Just enough cushion to relieve pressure points and provide a good night's sleep. There was no odor when first opening the package and it could be put on top of the mattress right away.

Im on the fence. The bed is ok, not bad but not as comfy as everyone says. The pillows are amazing but are rather heavy. The mattress topper is terrible.
