It made my bed softer for sure, which is better for my hips and shoulders (I’m a side sleeer). But I’m not sure it’s providing the support my back needs? It’s a weird balance. So the question “would I recommend it to a friend?” would be based on what that friend was looking for in a mattress topper. If they want a softer, plusher bed, then I’d say 10! If they want more back support, I might suggest differrently. So it was a difficult question to answer.

It's not as soft as I expected and I shouldn't have to buy an extra topper to make it comfortable, and it's still not as soft as I'd like. Speaking of, the topper moves all around even though it's being held in place with the protector and sheets. Thinking of returning everything and going with something different.

nice mattress but just too firm for me
