This 2” topper is perfectly fine. It really is a shame that it sleeps so warm, especially for my Mint mattress that sleeps nice and cool. I admittedly purchased this topper after reading other reviews about the heat retention, so I’m not claiming ignorance. I was hoping the other reviews were exaggerated, as they can seem at times…they were not. Ultimately, it really softened the mattress just enough to make it the pefect level of cushioning for my liking.

It adds some nice comfort to a somewhat hard foam bed for our grand kids. I still like a nice puffy pad over it to cuddle into, but it really helps to add softness.
