Mattress protector is NOT waterproof

We bought the mattress protector with our mattress a couple years ago, and it is NOT waterproof. Our cats have accidently gotten sick on the bed, etc., and it has seeped through immediately every time and stained the mattress. It's like having no mattress protector at all. It's also ridiculous that you can't dry it. They recommend washing it regularly but who has the time or space to air-dry a king size cover on a regular basis?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased the mattress protector for my daughter who has the occasional "uh-oh" in bed. Unfortunately, the protector is not waterproof, as claimed, and the mattress was damp when her sheets were changed this morning.

This protects anything that causes fabric tearing, or stitching unraveling, or other product failures under conditions of normal use and proper handling. This was a great investment! I had purchased a mattress cover at a local box store. Although it was a good product it was made to fit deep mattresses. Tuft & Needle mattresses are not 16 “ deep so it was uncomfortable when it would bunch up at night.
My Tuft & Needle mattress cover is PERFECT!
