My schedule changed at work and I am now working overnights and trying to sleep in the daytime. This machine helps drowned out normal daytime noise such as the neighbor mowing; vehicular traffic; and household members talking. It seems to be built well and is easy to operate. I like the fact also that I can control it using my iPhone via Bluetooth.
