Loses shape over time

When I first bought this protector it fit snuggly on the Tuft and Needle Mattress but after several months, it has lost its shape and loosened. This has created ridges in the protector which are not comfortable to sleep on. Tried washing and drying it, hoping that would tighten it up but unfortunately that did not happen. At the end of the day, not sure it is worth the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
