I had purchased a different brand, which was terrible- I was SO sweaty. Enter the Tuft and Needle protector- it's great! My only complaint is that as we sleep on it it wrinkles, making the sheets feel lumpy. It may not seem like a big deal, but I'm a person who likes a crisp bed. I just wish the cover fit a bit more snugly- like not using a pad at all.
